There’s some exciting things we are going to try this fall, and to get the background behind the opportunities below, please read this post.
Bethel’s Kickoff Sunday is September 9th.
Bethel Fergus Falls’ Sunday morning schedule this fall (September – December) will look like this:
- 9:00 AM – Worship service, Sunday school for kids & adults and confirmation for 7th & 8th grade.
- 10:30 AM – Worship service and Sunday school for kids & adults.
As it relates to Bethel’s Children’s Ministry, you can now register your children for the following two opportunities.
Bethel Kids’ Sunday School Registration is OPEN for both campuses. For Fergus Falls, you will let us know which hour of Sunday School your children will be attending. It is helpful for planning and preparing to know which hour your children will attend most often. Keep in mind that if your weekend plans change on a particular Sunday and you’d like to attend the other hour of SS than the one you registered for – it’s absolutely ok! We will be prepared for any children that come to Sunday School each and every morning.
Ages: age 2 (before September 1) – entering 6th grade.

MAGNIFY Registration is OPEN too! All 4th, 5th & 6th graders are invited to our Wednesday after school program at Bethel Fergus Falls (3:45 – 5:30 PM). The kids could be dropped off or ride the Bethel bus from Kennedy over to Bethel after school. Each year the kids read through one of the 4 Gospels and study what happened, why did it happen and then talk about what to do with the information they’ve learned. The Magnify group has snack, they play large group games, sing songs (led by Janet Anderson from IPoint), participates in various service projects including stocking shelves at the Food Shelf, and then at the end of each Wednesday they have the opportunity to have guest speakers (pastors, teachers, community leaders, etc) come answer questions the kids have been thinking about in our time together.
- Why did God make Satan?
- Why do we dress up for church if it’s not about appearance?
- What language did Adam & Eve speak?
- Why do people who believe still suffer?
- Why was Satan so rude?
- If you die old, will you be old in heaven?
- Why were Jesus’ disciples so important to him?
