Mexico Mission Team - Spring 2019

The Spring 2019 Mexico Mission Team will be leaving Bethel Fergus Falls parking lot at 6:30 AM on Monday, April 1st. If you are interested, you're invited to join the team at 6:15 AM to pray for the trip.

TRIP DATES: April 1-8, 2019

WHAT IS THIS TRIP?
The team will not only experience building a home for a family in need (see below), but also witness God working through the local churches. Relationships have been built with several local pastors and their congregations. Pray for the team as they support and encourage these churches, as well as learn and grow while doing ministry alongside them.

THE Homes of Hope FAMILY
This is the family that will be receiving the Homes of Hope house that the team will be building during the first couple of days they are serving in Ensenada, Mexico. Please keep this family in your prayers as they receive love and encouragement from Bethel and local pastors/churches. The Homes of Hope ministry is led by Youth With A Mission. The Bethel Team will be staying at a YWAM base in Ensenada, Mexico.
  • Father: Esteban (Age: 20 years old / Job: produce packer / Weekly salary: $80)
  • Mother: Lisbet (20 year old housewife)
  • Child: Jonatan (2 years old)
  • Current property: Their current home is a wooden structure with a dirt floor. They have running water but no electricity. More Information: Esteban and Lisbet’s son Jonatan is anemic and malnourished. After staying with in-laws and renting a house, they decided to save up and purchase a small piece of property. They hope to provide a better life for their son with this Homes of Hope home.
