Summer Proverbs Faith at Home Resource

This summer, Bethel will be looking at some passages in Proverbs during our sermon series "Fool Proof." The following are some ideas that you might consider for your person and family devotions.

There are 31 chapters in Proverbs. This equals a chapter each day of the month, depending on the month. Since Proverbs is not a narrative, we encourage you to simply read the chapter number that corresponds to each day. For example, read Proverbs 10 on June 10th. If you miss a day, simply skip to the next chapter. By the end of the summer, you would have read most of Proverbs three times through.

Tim & Kathy Keller's book "God's Wisdom for Navigating Life" is a daily devotions in the Book of Proverbs. This has been recommended by Bethel pastors as a way to dig deeper during our summer sermon series.

We hope this gives you a simple way to dig deep into God's Word this summer. Feel free to share any resources you have come across that might give us more opportunities to live out our faith at home.
