Family Discussion

Pastor Rich shares some questions related to this morning's sermon to ask as families.
  1. First, Read Ephesians 3:7-13
  2. Make a list of people in your life who have received the gift of telling YOU about Jesus. (And now YOU have received the gift of telling others about Jesus!)
  3. How is God using this time we're in with this pandemic to teach you about yourself? What is he teaching you about himself, about how you live your life, and about what matters?

Online Resources

During these days when our building is empty and people are isolated, we see this as an opportunity to slow down, rest in and draw close to God, care for our neighbors, and grow in our Faith@Home (read about our vision). Below are resources for children and youth, devotionals, recommended media on RightNow Media and other resources as they become available.

W.A.L.K. Families by Dave Ellis

Each Monday morning, Mr. Ellis will share a theme for the week and simple ideas for how to study God's Creation. It's all built on a daily walk as a family.
So, what's W.A.L.K.?
  1. W = Wonder
  2. A = Ask
  3. L = Look, Listen & Learn
  4. K = Kingdom (It's all God's)

If Bethel is your church, you are invited to set up a FREE account with RightNow Media. This is a gigantic library of Bible studies, resources and children’s shows!
The following are shows and studies that we recommend for your children and for your own personal devotions and study.
The Bible Made Easy!  Buck Denver and his friends take your children through the WHOLE Bible. Perfect viewing for the entire family—laugh and learn together.
Superbook teaches children timeless moral truths and life lessons through the captivating, Bible-based adventures of two time-traveling children and their robot friend.
Pastor and author J.D. Greear digs into the text of Ephesians verse-by-verse and challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of your city, of your school, of your family are going to hear the gospel, it's going to be from your mouth.
With this story of her conversion as a backdrop, Rosaria Butterfield invites us into her home to show us how God can use this same "radical, ordinary hospitality" to bring the gospel to our lost friends and neighbors.
Bethel's High School Youth Group is currently using this video Bible study. Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, this study explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship?
In The Art of Marriage, we weave together biblically-centered teaching, real-life stories, humorous vignettes and more to portray both the challenges and the beauty of God's design.

The Bible Project

Helping people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus, the Bible Project in an INCREDIBLE resource, offering beautiful videos about every book of the Bible, including teachings on various themes and sections of the Bible. These videos are perfect for personal Bible study, small groups or family devotions!

SENT Devotionals

Bethel pastors and staff will be sharing short devotionals on a regular basis during these times of unertainty and isolation. We hope you are blessed by the Scripture, reflections and prayer.
