Serve
For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.â€

Sunday Morning
It takes nearly 200 individuals to make Sunday morning worship and Sunday School happen!

Sound & Technology
You'll make worship happen. Help with sound, projection and video recording.
Sunday School
Help lead or teach children, teens or adults. Sunday School is offered for all ages.

Prayer Team
Pray with a small group for the worship services, the pastor who is preaching, and those participating in worship. Offer prayer and support for people following the services.
World Missions
Bethel is serious about world missions. Many people groups have never heard about Jesus, and some may never get a chance if a missionary is not sent into their community to share God’s Word with them.
Chad, Africa
Bethel has partnered with Lutheran Brethren International Mission (LBIM) to adopt a people group in Chad, Africa (name of people group is removed online for the safety of our missionaries).
Opportunities:
- Pray for our missionaries (learn more on the Missions page)
- Join or help the World Missions Team
- Give to this mission initiative (One of the ministry categories when giving to Bethel)
- Send a care package to our missionaries (Talk to Bethel office or contact LBIM - website)
Ensenada, Mexico
For the last twelve years, Bethel has been sending teams to build homes for those in need through Homes of Hope by Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Bethel and several local Ensenada churches have developed a meaningful relationship. The plan is to continue building these relationships alongside future Homes of Hope house builds, and look for opportunities to partner with these churches in ministry, to witness God at work, and to learn from them. This partnership is a two-way relationship, positively influencing both sides.
Opportunities:
- Pray for this missions initiative (learn more on the Missions page)
- Join one of the upcoming mission trips (Learn more on our Missions Page)
- Give to the ministry that happens on the mission trips to Ensenada, Mexico (One of the ministry categories when giving to Bethel)
Helping & Caring
Small Groups
Most helping and caring happens through small groups. Men's Groups helping replace a roof, Women's Groups organizing a meal train, Life Groups serving at the local food shelf. If your small group needs ideas, contact Pastor Rich Iverson.
Special Events
Serving through the ministries of Bethel Church and special events is a great opportunity to serve as a family (special events, funerals, etc.). We’d like to be able to utilize willing volunteers for these events but also to help when any other needs arise.
Faith@Home
Bethel is a Faith@Home church. This means our ministry equips and empowers people to live out their faith at home, in their community and at work. Faith@Home Family Service Projects provide opportunities for families to serve together. Watch upcoming events for future opportunities.
