Connecting with God...
Bethel has been around since 1912. We became a multisite church in January 2015 with a campus in Fergus Falls and another in Battle Lake.
Bethel is a group of ordinary people living openly with God. This relationship results in loving care of family, neighbor, community and one another. We think being connected with God through faith in Jesus Christ is life’s highest priority and greatest good!
People from all walks of life connect at Bethel – children, seniors, teenagers, college students, singles and families. We welcome, equally, those who are simply curious to know more about God and the message of the Bible, as well as those who are really looking for a place to belong.
We fly the flag of Jesus. Our allegiance is to God's Word, the Bible, which is our final authoritative guide for faith, doctrine and conduct.

One church, two locations.
Bethel is one church in two locations. One campus in Fergus Falls and a second campus in Battle Lake. Every week, we worship at both campuses.
We share a common mission, vision, staff, and budget, working together to reach into more areas to reach more people with the Gospel.

Our heritage
All Protestant churches ultimately trace their heritage back to the historic teachings of the reformation. At Bethel, we align ourselves with the teachings of the Lutheran Reformation, due to the clarity with which these help us understand God’s Word. Specifically we are affiliated with the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America, headquartered in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
