Pastors & Staff Appreciation Month
In Philippians 2, Paul exhorts the church to "...regard one another as more important than yourselves."
What does it look like, to "regard someone as more important than yourself"? Generally, it means to consider others, and what they do, as highly valuable, and worthy of your time, and attention.
We want to cultivate that attitude always, but I want to bring to your attention that October is "Pastor Appreciation Month", and I want to extend that appreciation to include all the Bethel Church staff that labor among us.
In 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul writes, "Therefore encourage one another and build up one another…" Paul says, "we request of you, ...that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you..., and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work..."
So Bethel Family, please make room in your heart, and in your schedule today, to express your appreciation to our Pastors, AND also, to express your appreciation to the dedicated Bethel Church Staff; who ALL "diligently labor among you".
I am so grateful for the cheerful voice I hear on the phone when I call the Bethel office, for the beautifully maintained facility and grounds, the fantastic Bethel programs planned for children, youth, adult, senior, and worship services; for marvelous organization and financial management, and brilliant communication.
Bethel Family, we are truly blessed.
Today, and in these next few weeks, please make room in your heart and in your schedule to express your appreciation to our Pastors and Bethel Staff. Thank you Bethel Family, for the love you demonstrate to each other.
