Bethel's Ministry Update - May 8
Bethel Church,
We hope you're doing well, enjoying the rain and sunshine, and resting in God's peace and truth. How can we share that truth and care for those in need around us? How can we MAKE ROOM in our lives and in our ministry to make a difference in the lives of others? More than ever, we can feel and see that we're in the midst of God's plan, the Mission of Christ in our generation!
How have you seen God working around you? What creative initiatives or acts of kindness have you seen? Do you have your own ideas? Please reply and share those with us. We'd love to hear how you are being the church in your neighborhood.
Here are four (4) things you need to know this week:
1. Worship Service - Join us online on Sunday morning as we have been doing!
2. Ramadan (Week 2) "30 Days of Prayer" - Please continue to pray for the Muslims around the world during Islam's holy month of Ramadan (ends May 23). Dan Venberg shares an update for week two and gives you ideas of how you can pray.

3. Weekly Prayer Gatherings (Wednesdays) - Join Pastor Rich and Pastor Kevin for weekly prayer gatherings over Zoom (A short devotional and small group time of prayer). Let's pray for each other, for our community and for the world during this time. The links that were included in our weekly email will work each week until we decide to suspend these online gatherings. If you haven't received the links, please contact the church office and we will provide them to you.

4. COMMUNITY CARE & RESPONSE - This is an incredible time to be the church in our community.

4. COMMUNITY CARE & RESPONSE - This is an incredible time to be the church in our community.
- Take-Out Tuesday - Bless a local restaurant by substituting one of your weekly meals with a take-out meal. Consider sharing your moments on social media to encourage others to do the same. Use: #takeouttuesday
- Face masks - A generous couple of Bethel Church is making face masks for anyone who needs them. They have been donated to local healthcare facilities, restaurants, non-profit organizations. If you need a mask, please let the church office know.
