Ensenada Partnership Update - January 2021
News from Mexico Baja Ensenada
It has been one year since we had to cancel our April 2020 trip due to COVID-19. We have been in touch with the ministries we have been partnering with on a very regular basis.
COVID-19 19 has hit them pretty hard, and they are currently in simi-lockdown. Very few church services are able to happen during this time. (Pictured above: Pastor Lazaro with food to distribute)
> See a "Thank you" video from Ensenada pastors at the end of this post.
Luis Ochoa (pictured below), the pastor of one of our partner churches, died of COVID-19 in November. This has been very hard on his family, obviously, as well as his congregation. Luis was an evangelist who was sought after across Mexico, with a heart for lost people.
The Bethel Mission Team's plan is to organize a mission trip to Ensenada in April or May of this year. We would love to have you with us.
Please continue your donations as we have been sending money to Ensenada to assist the pastors with food distribution. The people in Ensenada are suffering and are hungry.
Please pray for the pastors of our partner churches as they continue to serve their community and shepherd their congregations during this difficult time.
