Building Progress

Bethel's Make Room vision is to expand ministry reach and effectiveness through building projects in Fergus Falls, Battle Lake and Boudamasa, Chad.

Fergus Falls

The vision for Fergus Falls is to meet the parking and facility challenges at our Fergus Falls campus with vision for growth.
The threshold for beginning this project has been met (Meet the campaign goal of $8.3 Million and $1.3 million cash toward projects).
Construction started the week following the business meeting and groundbreaking celebration on May 16, 2021.

Soccer Field Acquired / June 24, 2020
The closing on this land to the north of Bethel Fergus Falls (currently a soccer field) took place Wednesday morning, June 24, at 10:00 AM. This land will be used for more parking in the future, as part of Bethel's Make Room initiative.

Video: During the outdoor worship (Thurs, June 25, 2020), while Pastor Dave prayed for the service, he also prayed over the newly acquired land that we were sitting on.

Battle Lake

The vision for mission expansion in Battle Lake is to invest the resources required to own and develop a facility for growth and impact in Battle Lake.
The Bethel congregation approved the signing of a "build to suit" lease agreement for a ministry facility for Bethel Battle Lake. The Battle Lake property committee has approved a schematic design, in partnership with the building owner.
The current expectation is a spring 2021 start.

Boudamasa, Chad

The vision for mission expansion in Boudamasa, Chad is to build a school capable of reaching the children of Boudamasa. Currently, over 200 children attend this school! The village leadership has blessed the integration of Christianity within the curriculum. The Gospel is being shared every day!

Missionaries Nathanael and Carrie, along with Chadian missionaries to the Bagirmi people had selected a contractor in November, 2020, and classroom construction started in January, 2021.
