HOPE of Peace for the Fearful

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. What fears do you struggle with?
2. Pastor Dave talked about God’s “glory” (weight, significance, heaviness) surrounding the shepherds. What is your best guess as to what that looked like?...felt like?
3. Consider the metaphor of the heart as a “cup” or “balancing scale”. How might you practically apply this idea that God is weightier than all your fears?
4. Take the words in the the verse that follows and turn it into a prayer: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13)
